EVA WENZLER, MS

AREAS OF INTEREST:

        Working with children, adolescents, and parents with issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, aggression, risky behavior, and other life stressors.  Collaborative therapeutic apporach incorporating client's goals, values, and strengths.  Interest in cognitive behavioral treatments and using art in therapy.

EDUCATION:

Masters in Counseling (Community Counseling, Child/Adolescent track), Marquette University.  Bachelors Degree in Psychology, University of Wisconsin-Madison.

EXPERIENCE:

Varied counseling experiences including individual therapy in middle and high school setting, group work with incarcerated youth and adults, in-home behavior management with young children and parents, and individual and family therapy in a local nonprofit setting.  Previous experience working with youth and parents in a runaway, homeless youth shelter in Milwaukee.
