AREAS OF INTEREST:

        Assessment and treatment of all ages in individual, group, couples, and family therapy.  Primary therapeutic frameworks in cognitive behavioral, DBT, and strength-based systemic approaches.  Special interest in adolescent behavioral problems, parenting difficulties, relationship struggles, managing anxiety and depression, coping with trauma, and managing stress and conflict.

EDUCATION:

        Bachelors Degree in Clinical Psychology from Alverno College in 1992.  Masters in Social Work from the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2004.

EXPERIENCE:

        Counseling experience in a variety of settings such as in-home treatment, inpatient for adolescents and adults, outpatient, and adolescent residential treatment.  Has worked extensively in parent education, family therapy, group therapy, emotional issues and drug using behaviors.  Specialty area in Christian Counseling. Has given many public speaking seminars to a variety of populations.
