ACS is excited continue offering a group for adults wanting extra support in their efforts to quit drinking or using other drugs. The group is also appropriate for adults that are thinking about quitting or wondering if they have a problem with drugs or alcohol. The group is a positive and supportive experience that attempts to provide a safe, therapeutic environment that encourages and promotes recovery. The group is designed to help individuals foster healthy, responsible changes in behavior that can lead to healthier lives for the individual, their families and those in the community. ACS is also excited to offer a new group for teens. This group mirrors the adult groups however it is specific for teens struggeling with AODA issues or teens wanting education on drugs/alcohol. AODA Director: Jessica Geschke, CSAC, CSIT ADULT IOP GROUP: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm or 6:00pm to 9:00pm WHERE: Affiliated Clinical Services
This is an open group where new members may start at any time. The specific topics covered in the group and the specific approaches used will depend on what might be most helpful for the group at a given time.
ADULT PRIMARY GROUP: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9:00am-10:30am or 6:00pm to 7:30pm
ADULT RELAPSE PREVENTION GROUP: Tuesday 6:00pm to 7:30pm
TEEN IOP GROUP: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 1:00pm to 4:00pm
TEEN PRIMARY GROUP: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 1:00pm to 2:30pm
